Karissa brings to the team a diverse background and over 10 years of experience in dynamic Executive Assistant and Administrative related roles, all of which serving a myriad of Office Environments and various levels of Sales, HR, Accounting, IT, Marketing and Executive Officers. She has worked in the Newspaper industry, Health industry, restaurant industry, over 7 years in the Oil and Gas industry and most recently dabbled in the Residential Real Estate Market in YYC. Karissa is an experienced Team & Event leader with developed time management skills and honed computer proficiency, she functions as a decisive problem solver with the ability to execute innovative solutions and process improvements.
Karissa’s role at Pinnacle is much like her professional background as a whole – it is multi faceted and diverse. She is the first point of contact for all incoming inquiries to the Managing Partner, Chris Burylo. As Karissa takes lead in managing communications, handling meeting requests, and planning time for business priorities you may hear from her from time to time so give her a friendly hello!
As Executive Assistant, Karissa ensures the smooth operation of the firm with her robust knowledge of office management and efficient handling of client inquiries, consultations, and timely access to Associates as required. Always curious, Karissa relishes the challenge of learning new skills, software or applications. She is quick and eager to learn and step in to help wherever she can.
Outside of the office Karissa enjoys spending time with her fur babies, friends and family. She loves hosting dinner parties, cooking and drinking wine and she is always up for a good adventure! In her downtime you can find her reading fantasy, science fiction novels, philosophy, poetry, and the likes.
