It was on a Salmon fishing trip with his uncle, a CMA himself, that Luc realized accounting might actually be a good fit for himself. After describing the sense of celebration and joy making his first balance sheet balance (properly), his uncle said "Accounting is one of those professions, people either are or are not accountants. Its pretty black and white. So, if you enjoyed that challenge and did not mind the process to get there well ..."

6 more years of schooling followed, with an Accounting Major and Professional designations achieved. Luc began his professional career with stops in Agriculture and Oil and Gas before he ended up beginning his longest journey at Pinnacle Accounting.  

It is here that he developed a passion to save people money. In areas such as complex corporate structuring and restructuring, SR&ED claims, and corporate Real Estate structuring, Luc has found innovative ways to accomplish this goal. With a broad client base that ranges from agriculture and farming to foreign based E-businesses, Luc truly enjoys getting to know a client’s business tailoring a tax plan that matches each client’s needs. The goal is to develop long term, mutually beneficial business relationships. So, while Luc would likely prefer to be out in the woods somewhere, he genuinely enjoys the professional side of his life.
