Michelle is a dedicated leader who executes effective operational and financial procedures while providing direct oversight over the company’s budgets, ensuring all internal processes are optimized. She enjoys supporting her team who she prefers to call the “Pinnacle Family” in their day to day tasks and ongoing work with the firm’s clients. As Pinnacle’s first female Partner, Michelle compliments her team as they rely on her to be their backbone of support; she is quick to put out fires as panic situations occur. Her more formal role in the office was focused on human resources and payroll management both internally and for the firm’s extensive portfolio of corporate clients.

In addition to her scope of work at Pinnacle, one of Michelle’s passions is Real Estate. Michelle manages a small real estate portfolio with her partner in life and in business, Chris Burylo. This entails short-term and long-term rentals across both Canada and the United States. Furthermore, Michelle is heavily involved in her community through volunteering, fundraising, and mentorship. She spends a great deal of her spare time mentoring accountants, students, and entrepreneurs in the areas of; business compliance, management, and financial literacy. Michelle is the Vice President and Co-Founder of ‘The Foundation for the Advancement of Entrepreneurship’.

In her spare time, you will probably find Michelle with her extended family cooking something delicious! Michelle is an avid cook, holding a Red Seal Chef certificate. Hosting events is another favorite hobby of hers and it would be remiss not to mention a great love of her life – sailing! Michelle’s other interests include skiing, cycling, and of course, traveling!
